Their Mexican tacos are really good. My wife craves them all the time. Everything I have tried has been really good including the stir fry, steak, and chicken. I would recommend this to anyone especially if you are looking for great carne asada tacos.

If you love all things plantain-y and rice-y and bean-y, this is the place for you. The 2nd location of a local caribbean restaurant has lots of food available and the prices are certainly right. What they lack in service they more than make up for in food quality. The good: My partner and I had a menu delivered with our mailbox flyers that showed practically everything on their menu. One of the things on it is mofongo, a Puerto Rican delicacy made from fried plantains and garlic mashed and formed into a ball shape. All I can say is, this is just as good as the mofongo we've had in Puerto Rico. It was served with carne frita, hard-fried pork chunks that were excellent. I would like to have had more lime slices to squeeze over the carne frita but I'm sure if I'd asked they would've given them to me. We also ordered some tostones and they were very good, although they really need some kind of sauce to dip into. Now for the bad: This place is the kind of place you walk up to a counter, order, and take a table to wait while your food is prepared. When we got there around 5:30, the line was 6 orders deep! That's a lot, and it was moving REALLY slow. In talking with another local business owner, he told me he visits their original location and they don't have any problems getting people in and out and that he knows they have a new computer system for the new location. Well, you better get that fixed, or learn how to use it. The ugly: while the employees are very nice, they have no idea how to use coupons. One family of four in front of us wanted to use a coupon from the local paper that gives one free dinner after spending $25. Their order when placed totaled $34 and when one dinner was comp'd, it lowered the amount due to $22 so the lady at the counter wouldn't accept the coupon because she said you "had to spend $25 first". Well, they did, Blanche!!! And to make matters worse, when we visited on Friday May 25th, we paid cash, even though I have a Living Social coupon for $30 for $15 and didn't use it. When I tried to print it today, 4 days later, it was showing that the merchant had shown the coupon as used when it clearly hasn't been. They're going to have to get their act together on this couponing! Overall, the food was very good and I'm looking forward to visiting again, even if I have to use a coupon!

I would frequent the location in Margate on 441 near the DMV and found out that they opened a second location in Coral Springs. I really didnt want to drive out to the 441 location or eat at La Granja. I like this place but today wasnt its best. I waited roughly 20 minutes for my chicken, white rice, black beans, plantains, and pepsi. I noticed that a couple that had ordered after me was served first. Number orders are yelled out in English (Yay! Now I don't have to try to figure out what my number is! I failed Spanish in high school!) My meal was great as expected however my plantains were over cooked. I love La Parrilla and will always be a customer, today just wasnt a good day. Tip: Yellow rice is only served between Monday and Friday.

My fiance and I were in town for work and all that she wanted was some good authentic puerto rican food. So, we went here. Not only was it not authentic, but It was peruvian! Rubbery meat, dry plantains, and bad customer service. I was very disappointed. Go somewhere else if you want to be satisfied.

So I went to La Parilla on a Groupon, not knowing what to expect. Upon arriving I was a liitle surprised as it seemed like a kind of McDonalds for Latin people. The walls near the register are covered with large pictures of the food with prices on them (see my photos) so you don't even have to read to order (lucky for me). I've been to places like this in Peru and Brazil, so if you're from the South (South America) you'll feel right at home here. This place is kind of like Pollo Tropical but more authentic and with better food. As I said, I purchased a Groupon for $40 worth of food..... Now, let me tell you, if you intend to spend $40 here, you better bring at least 4 people with you (I had 3 with me and we couldn't finish). We ordered a family meal for four, a salad, and a steak sandwich for my son and went over by $4. We had so much food, I felt a little guilty bringing all that food to our table (we took quite a bit home). The food itself was very good; pretty much grilled meat of every variety. This included rotisserie chicken (I think it was actually deep fried), steak, pork, chicken breast, sausage, a side if onions, a double serving of black beans and rice, and an entire dinner plate full of French fries (Family meal for 4 - $31.99). This meal also came with 4 sodas. Holy cow!!! Literally tons of food and all pretty good. I was impressed with the amount and quality of the food (for the money), the only thing is that Latin folks like their meat very well done, and all of this meat was cooked very well done, so I may request it a little less done next time. Finally the service was really great. The young lady behind the register was very friendly, helpful, patient, and kind. She helped us order and didn't give me any issues with using a Groupon. Overall, this is a great place to get a real Latin meal for a fair price, but it's not a 5 Star restaurant and it doesn't pretend to be. So why 4 Stars? Because La Parilla is very good at what they do.... Good Latin good with no frills and no pretense. My Star calculation is as follows: Food 3 Stars, Service 4 Stars, Value 5 Stars = Overall Total Score - 4 Stars. :-)

The family meals are already a bargain. Get the yelp deal and you have a super bargain. Here you can expect to eat a lot of grilled meats (a little on the tough and chewy side) and french fries and rice and beans. But I wouldn't expect a nice salad or any healthy vegetable looking thing. The inside reminds me of a nice cafeteria, with a order at the counter set up. You can get a meal that feeds a family of four with a variety of meat (including rotisserie chicken, grilled pork, grilled steak or grilled sausage), with a big pile of fries, bowl of beans and four canned sodas. Combine that with the self serve salsa bar, including pickled onions and a variety of sauces, and you have a pretty filling meal at a regular menu price of less than 33$. This place is more about quantity than quality. If this place was closer to home, you can bet we'd be coming here more often

Queeeee riccccco! Love this place! Sooo many options from Dominican, Puerto Rican, Peruvian, Mexican etc. they have chivo, tallarin verde, mofongo, papa a la huancaina, arroz chaufa, etc. it's very inexpensive too. I had the mofongo which is the best I've tried in soflo! They even deliver in the area. The place is very clean. Can't wait to come back & try everything.
(4)Elizabeth T.
OMG DELICIOUS!!!!!! Let me start off by saying.... the amount of food that you get for the affordable price is insane!!! The food is quality at its finest. True delicious mix of Peruvian, Dominican, Puerto Rican, and Mexican goodness all in one. Every time I eat here, I try a new dish and I have yet to be disappointed. The food is amazingly good each time, the staff are always so professional and friendly, the restaurant itself is always clean and maintained. I highly recommend trying this place. You won't be disappointed instead you'll want to come back.
(5)Paola R.
Amazing food! Great prices and crazy amount of food... Me and my husband totally recommend this restaurant.
(5)Jenna S.
Great food at great prices. Love their selection if sauces. Twice they have messed my order up though and just made me wait without apologizing.. Kind of aggravated me but it's still worth the wait
(3)Karin S.
I love this place for all the variety of food including but not limited to Cuban, Dominican, Mexican and Peruvian. Being Cuban and my husband Dominican, we love that it tastes very authentic and it caters to both of our palates. There service is great and the food is tasty. Prices are reasonable too!
(4)Tairyn A.
This is where I come when I don't feel like cooking. They have the best prices, and the food is tasty and of good quality. I also love the fact that they have a very good selection of different dishes from various latin cultures. I specially love the lomo saltado. Service is quick and courteous, and they try their best substitute whenever you don't like something. I do recommend this place to anyone who loves lots of food for the little money. Like we say in Chile: Bueno, bonito y barato ;).
(4)Harry S.
First time I was here and I really enjoyed it. I ordered the Palomilla Steak and a cup of chicken soup. I liked both and plan to visit again soon. They had a friendly staff and the entire restaurant was very clean. I liked that they had a glassed in kitchen so you can watch how they prepare your food. The only reason I haven't given them 5 stars is there was a lack of variety at the salsa bar places like this usually 2 or 3 different types of peppers and picked carrots and onions along with the chopped raw onions and other condiments they had no peppers at all just some sliced red and white onions
(4)Roberto R.
La Parilla offers a great selection of Latin food at affordable prices. There is something from every country in Latin America. Fast service, clean establishment, and good food makes it a winner when you just need to eat.
(4)Jo W.
I don't know how to describe La Parrilla Rotisserie & Grill other than similar to La Granja (restaurant chain that serves Latin American food). My fiancé had the Steak with Rice and Peas. It was a satisfying meal, but didn't wow. I had the Mofongo with Chicharon. First off the sauce (which is usually garlic based) tasted and look like Lipton broth, then the meat was over seasoned and salty. The Monfongo itself was decent though. Bottomline, decent service, a basic restaurant atmosphere, and okay food.
(3)Lisa B.
The best food love their civiche ! Delivery experience was great fast and food was hot!
(3)Colleen R.
Went here with my son for lunch. Very large space so it seemed a little empty. You order at a counter and they call your number when your food is ready. We loved that every plate is displayed with a photo on the wall since we are not familiar with the cuisine. I had the Mofungo, the pork was well seasoned, fried perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I always wanted to try Mofungo, not a fan but glad I tried it. (it was way better than the first time I tried it from a local food truck) My son had the chicken breast which is loved. The lady at the counter was very friendly and it was super clean. The pictures on the wall were all so appetizing that we will absolutely be back to try some more!
(4)Johnny S.
The food here is very delicious. I ordered Lomo Saltado (beef stir fry with tomato, onion French fries and served with white rice.) for 4 people for 29$ which included 4 drinks. The prices are very good and the portions are very generous. I highly recommend this place. This place is very clean and accommodates large parties.
(5)Maria R.
So sad that the restaurant has lowered its expectations. My plate was full of greasy fingerprints (Gross) my salad was drenched in vinegar (not eadible) and my fries where cold. This was all after waiting 25 minutes for this disaster. Super sloppy!! (Atlantic & Ramblewood) no standards
(1)Jonathan T.
This place never fails to deliver, I love the food, the sauces, I always pick up the family combo with some flans and some inka colas. its always consistent it all tastes like good latin home cooking right out of your gradma's kitchen.

My quest for authentic Puerto Rican food was a failure :( This restaurant is listed as Puerto Rican, however, we were told after receiving our order that it was Peruvian. My plantains were dry & carne was fried pork, not red meat, but again this is because it is a Peruvian restaurant. My fault for not knowing carne is pork, I think of carne as meat, but it would have been nice if upon tasting the meat & finding this out from the lady at the counter, she offer to give me another plate on the menu.

I placed an order today on 12/13/2014 for a chicken fried rice and received an email confirmation. It was an hour and I still hadn't received it. I called and the woman on the phone tells me there wasn't an order placed with that name. I received an email and received confirmation on their site. IM PISSED OFF! Starving and they have a corrupted ordering system. And when you are talking to a customer do not cal them "mama". Be professional.
(1)Gee G.
When you are looking for a good hearty meal that feels home cooked, this is your spot. I had the mofungo this time round and I had only one regret... The chicken broth that came with it. The chicken broth had a bad taste but other than that the mufungo was delicious and a definite favorite. The staff is friendly The place is clean The food is delicious
(4)Vanessa D.
I was on my way to la granja but saw la parilla and me and my husband stopped there instead. I saw all the dishes they have and ordered a Lomo Saltiado and it was not what I expected. The fries and meat were drenched in soy sauce and the appearance of my food wasn't appealing. I gave 2 stars because my husband liked his food, palomilla and salad. next time I will drive a little further to la granja, better quality.
(2)Alexis M.
Sooo good! We got the palomilla steak with onions & boneless chicken breast! We got the fries, beans & rice, fried plantains...all so so good! We may go back tomorrow, and the next day, and the next! They also play our favorite music, reggaeton!
(5)Rick M.
First I'll just say the food is fantastic. That being said, careful with the coupon. I purchased it from yelp and since it said nothing about restrictions towards dining in our taking it to go, I didn't think there would be a problem. But when I went in to order the food to take home, they gave me a hard time and told me I had to eat in. The person in charge said any of those "groupon" deals u have to dine in. When I explained to her that it was yelp, and when I showed her the part on the bottom of this coupon that said the deal must be honored and not altered at the time of redemption, she still didn't wanna hear it. Eventually she caved though and I was able to get the food. Hey, I don't mind working a little harder to get good food lol.
(3)Daniel M.
Food - 4 1/2, Service - 4 If you are focused on quality food with bellybusting portions, this is the place for you. Everything tried here have been tasty and fresh. I like the non-pretentiousness of the place. A great place to pick up homestyle foods.
(4)Joanne T.
Didn't felt like driving all the way to La Granja , so I decided to stop by here to get some food. Nothing too special. Just good food for a cheap price. I'll definitely be back.
(4)Gwendolyn F.
Came here because my brother recommended it. We ended up using a yelp deal which was a great bonus. We all left happy and full. The food was freshly made and delicious. The kids enjoyed watching the chefs cook the food. The staff was nice and we got our food quickly. You order your food and then find your seat.

Always here whenever I'm craving some Spanish food! My favorite dish they serve is the Chop Chop with white rice, black beans, and some fries on the side. The chopped steak is perfectly grilled and definitely worth the money. Staff is always fast moving and food is quickly made, depending on the time of day. Good place for the family.
(4)Alexandria O.
I had a groupon, so I paid $22 and got $40 worth of food. On the plus side it was super cost effective and I got a lot of bang for the buck. The food was what to be expected with counter service and the portions are huge. Not a classy place, but great for a hefty lunch on a tight budget
(3)Evelin B.
I have been eating here at least once a month for about 4 years now. The staff is always polite regardless of the amount of English they speak and they are always quick. Every time I have eaten here, the food is nothing less than I expect even when I try a new dish. I don't eat pork so my meals are very limited when I order off the menu, however the chicken and steak are great; cooked just the way I like it. They are always very generous with the portions, that I always end up having a second meal. Even the 3.99 lunch specials are equally hefty in size. In Broward county we are more limited to the access to a traditional Spanish meal, however La Parilla will meet that satisfaction. Enjoy!
(5)Carlton W.
feel like im in the dominican republic!!!! love it!
(5)Rockin R.
Mofongo is the BEST! Lomo is too. Super fresh and super great food. Clean restaurant and great service.
(5)Daniel D.
Can't go wrong with this place!
(5)Jenniffer V.
This place is so backwards! DO NOT PLACE ANY ORDERS ONLINE ! They play a game that they never got it or it did not print out. Employees laugh about it. After they did find out that they missed up they said they can bring the order out in another 45 mins after the order was placed on line a hour and 10mins before calling to see where it is. This place is highly unprofessional! STAY AWAY from here.
(1)Sally S.
First time that I enjoyed Mexican Taco so much. A must visit if you want to experience Latin American food one stop
(5)Fernando D.
Over all, the service and food were great!!
(5)Elicia L.
Good food. Good service. Nice open dining area. Chicken a bit dryer than their competitors but still tasty.
(5)Frank D.
Best chicken I've ever had in my life!!! Sit down quality food at an affordable price! Definitely coming back!

Good food. Good service. Nice open dining area. Chicken a bit dryer than their competitors but still tasty.

Their Mexican tacos are really good. My wife craves them all the time. Everything I have tried has been really good including the stir fry, steak, and chicken. I would recommend this to anyone especially if you are looking for great carne asada tacos.

Food - 4 1/2, Service - 4 If you are focused on quality food with bellybusting portions, this is the place for you. Everything tried here have been tasty and fresh. I like the non-pretentiousness of the place. A great place to pick up homestyle foods.

Didn't felt like driving all the way to La Granja , so I decided to stop by here to get some food. Nothing too special. Just good food for a cheap price. I'll definitely be back.

I had a groupon, so I paid $22 and got $40 worth of food. On the plus side it was super cost effective and I got a lot of bang for the buck. The food was what to be expected with counter service and the portions are huge. Not a classy place, but great for a hefty lunch on a tight budget

Enjoy!

Can't go wrong with this place!
